Google launches $7.99 AI Plus plan with global access to Gemini 3 Pro
Google has rolled out its AI Plus subscription plan globally, including in the U.S., starting at $7.99 per month. The plan gives users access to Gemini 3 Pro, the company’s advanced AI model, integrated into services like Gmail, Docs, and the Google app. It aims to broaden adoption of generative AI by offering more affordable access to Google’s top-tier AI tools. Google also confirmed that Gemini 3 is now the default AI model for its AI Overviews feature in Search.
The move positions Google more competitively in the consumer AI space and signals the increasing mainstream accessibility of powerful AI tools.
