Apptronik raises $520M to scale its AI-powered humanoid robots
Humanoid robotics company Apptronik has secured an additional $520 million in funding, bringing total Series A investment to $935 million and valuing the firm at over $5.5 billion. Led by heavyweights including Google, Mercedes-Benz, and B Capital, the round also attracted new investors like AT&T Ventures and John Deere. Apptronik plans to use the funds to scale manufacturing and deployment of its general-purpose humanoid robots, aimed at industrial, logistics, and service applications.
The deal signals growing confidence in humanoid robotics as a viable sector — and a key node in the future of automation.
