Google’s Gemini AI Assistant Gets Major Upgrade with Visual Guidance
Google is rolling out a significant update to Gemini Live, its AI assistant, enabling it to visually highlight objects in real-time via smartphone camera. Starting August 28th on Pixel 10 devices, users will be able to point their phone at objects, and Gemini will guide them by marking the correct item on-screen. The update also brings support for app integrations like Messages and Phone, allowing users to multitask using voice prompts. Additionally, Gemini gains improved voice dynamics and customizable speech pacing for more natural interaction.
