Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud service is getting a major upgrade with RTX 5080 GPUs and “Install-to-Play”
Starting in September, Nvidia will roll out RTX 5080-class performance to its GeForce Now Ultimate tier at no additional cost, enabling better graphics, DLSS 4 support, and up to 360fps game streaming. A new “Install-to-Play” feature allows users to install thousands of Steam games directly—dramatically expanding the GFN library. Nvidia is also introducing 5K streaming, new bandwidth and video quality upgrades, and support for more devices including LG TVs and Steam Deck OLED.
These capabilities, combined with experimental Discord-based instant game demos, position GeForce Now as a more compelling alternative to traditional consoles.
