Apple unveils ambitious AI-driven smart home roadmap
Apple is developing a series of AI-powered devices, including tabletop robots, home security cameras, and a smart home display featuring a lifelike version of Siri, according to a Bloomberg report. The updated Siri will be enhanced by large language models (LLMs) and offer more natural, interactive conversations. One prototype is a robotic arm-mounted display that follows users around the room. Apple’s smart home strategy includes a new line of hardware and software, aiming for launches starting in 2026 through 2027.
This marks Apple’s most aggressive AI expansion yet, signaling a serious push to compete in the smart home and consumer AI ecosystem.
