Warner Bros. Discovery announced it will divide into two separate entities by mid-2026: Warner Bros., overseeing film, TV, HBO, and gaming assets; and Discovery Global, managing news, sports, and unscripted content. CEO David Zaslav will continue to lead Warner Bros., while CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels will head Discovery Global. The restructuring aims to better position each company for growth and address Warner Bros. Discovery’s heavy debt burden.
